Charles James "Chuck" Blinne

On September 4, 2018, at age 74, Charles “Chuck” James Blinne peacefully passed away at his home in Savannah, Georgia. He was born in 1943 in Rolla, Missouri, and is survived by two daughters, Kristen Blinne of Oneonta, New York, and Tamara Wiesmann of Seattle, Washington, and their mother, Lynette Blinne of Nokomis, Florida. Additionally, Chuck leaves behind his long-time colleagues and friends at Preferred Materials, Inc., as well as his numerous community friends.

Chuck Blinne faithfully served the GA/SC Regional Construction office of Preferred Materials, Inc., for over 18 years. During this time, he held a variety of positions such as Project Manager, Estimator, External Sales, and other roles. Chuck served in the U.S. Army. He also was extremely passionate about racing, sailing, and biking, and he will be greatly missed by his community.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at 11:00 am at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel located at 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia.
